SOLID Event Crew is the crew behind the biggest festivals in the Netherlands, such as Awakenings, Lowlands, Mysteryland and more. With thousands of young people employed, they provide energy, experience and flexibility, and that's what their employees expect from their salary. Since its inception in 2017, SOLID has had one clear mission: connecting the best staff to the best events. With years of experience in the event industry, they know better than anyone how to hire the right person in the right place. The challenge

The new generation of employees, especially Gen Z, does not want to wait for their money. They want to decide for themselves when they will be paid out.

SOLID was already progressive with weekly remuneration. Nevertheless, the demand in the workplace kept coming back:

Together with SOLID, we ran a pilot during Awakenings. Each employee was given the choice:

• Or waiting for the regular payday

• The majority opted for immediate payment
• Doubters switched later
• Overwhelmingly positive feedback
